34th Graduating Class

The 34th graduating class of Heritage Covenant Schools enjoyed their Commencement last Saturday, 11 May. It has been a profound pleasure to have helped so many students and their families over the years. I am looking to the future and all it holds for many more students. www.hcsedu.com

2024 Graduation

Commencement exercises are tentatively scheduled for Saturday afternoon, 11 May. We did not want to interfere with any Morther’s Day activities on the 12th.

All those scheduled to receive a Diploma will be receiving a letter with details by the end of January.

If you are uncertain about your status, please call or e-mail the HCS office immediately.

Reading

The best teachers are also good students. We all need to be learning and discovering new horizons. That is why we must always be reading.

I recently picked up a book, The Christian Mind, written by an English Christian and published in 1963. I have been challenged by the thoughts of this gentleman. I would encourage everyone who wishes to develop the mind of Christ to find this book and devour it.

“The Christian mind sees human life and human history held in the hands of God. It sees the whole universe sustained by his power and his love. It sees the natural order as dependent upon the supernatural order, time as contained within eternity. It sees this life as an inconclusive experience, preparing us for another; this world as a temporary place of refuge, not our true and final home.” Harry Blamires

Hello world!

Heritage Covenant Schools was the first school established in Tennessee (1986) to inform and assist families wishing to educate their children at home.

This academic year has been challenging as our founding Headmaster became severely ill and at the same time our website url was temporarily stolen by a public school system. Our communication was cut off, but WE ARE BACK and stronger than ever.

Please be patient with us as we rebuild our website with new and additional information and helpful forms. You may contact us by phone – 931 593-2881 or via email – headmaster@hcsedu.com.
